At the Republic Bharat Rashtriya Sarvopari Sammelan, Vijay Karia, Chairman and Managing Director of Ravin Group, shared an insightful anecdote from 16 years ago when a former central minister advised him to leave India and pursue business abroad, citing the country’s dire conditions. Reflecting on this, Karia expressed his gratitude for the confidence that initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make for India’ have instilled in the industry. He emphasized that today, products manufactured in India are exported to around 10 countries, contributing to India’s rising global stature.
